Men in Charles County have one of the highest prostate cancer diagnosis and death rates in the State of Maryland. UM Charles Regional Medical Center's Cancer Program is presenting a community education forum with a panel of experts in prostate cancer screening, detection and treatment. Panel includes:
-Dr. Boris Naydich, Radiation Oncologist, Chesapeake Potomac Regional Cancer Center
-Dr. Krishan Mathur, Oncologist & Hematologist, Cambridge Oncology Center
-Dr. Vladimir Kakitelashvili, La Plata Urology Center, LLC
-Dr. Simul Parikh, Radiation Oncologist, Chesapeake Potomac Regional Cancer Center
-Phyllis Troffer, RN, Charles County Department of Health, Prostate and Colorectal Cancer Program
They will discuss the newest options, latest technologies, and screening recommendations. The program is free to the publc but registration is requested. Light refreshments will be provided. The first 100 men to RSVP will receive a free ticket to the Blue Crabs game that night and can enjoy the game from the Legend's Club!
